Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is the Deputy Director of the Accelerator Division of IHEP, Deputy Leader of the Accelerator Physics Specialty Group of the Particle Accelerator Branch of the Chinese Nuclear Society, and an Editorial Board Member of the journals High Power Laser and Particle Beams and Radiation Detection Technology and Methods. He has long been engaged in accelerator physics research for synchrotron radiation light sources. In recent years, he has been primarily involved in the design and development of the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS), a national major science and technology infrastructure under the 13th Five-Year Plan, where he is responsible for the HEPS accelerator physics design and commissioning.
