Dr. Charanjit Singh is a Professor and academic leader with over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and higher education. He is currently Dean, Engineering and Computing Sciences at Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh. His Ph.D. research focused on microwave ferrite absorbers. His research interests include microwave absorbing materials, electromagnetic shielding, functional nano/micro materials, impedance spectroscopy, and magnetic materials. He has published 144 SCI-indexed papers and received more than 5,500 Scopus citations. He is a Stanford Top 2% Scientist (2024 and 2025) and recipient of the URSI Young Scientist Award for research on microwave absorbers.
He is currently Project Leader at Ioffe Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia, for a Russian Science Foundation (RSF) Mega-Grant project valued at approximately 200 million RUB (USD 2.2 million) for 2026−2030. He has established international research collaborations with institutions in Russia, France, Brazil, Serbia, Egypt, Poland etc.
